Yuki Bhambri proves the hopes of tennis fans of India once again in the Australian Open Junior. In 2005, he turned the eyes of every one at the age of 12 in ITF Asian-14 Championship. Now he has a written a historical moment by becoming the fisrt indian to win the title. He beated "Alexandros Ferdinandos Georgoudas" of Germany in straight sets of 6-3, 6-1 in the final @ Melbourne Park on 31-Jan 2009, Saturday. He took only 57 minutes to register his win. Yuki is joining as fourth member of the Club Junior Grandslam after Ramanathan, Ramesh Krishnan and Leander Paes.
Congrats and wishes to Yuki. Hope soon he will claim the Senior Grands slam and drive Indian Tennis to next mile stones. I would like to remember Somdev Devvarman's remarkable move during chennai open this season, which adds me more faith about indian tennis.
